We move your whole store to Shopify

Products, variants, SKUs, stock, images, customers and old URLs. From another platform, a POS export or a spreadsheet nobody wants to touch. Cleaned, imported and checked, so you sell on day one.

The part of a Shopify move nobody wants to do

Picking a theme takes an afternoon. Moving a catalogue properly takes days, sometimes weeks. Titles are inconsistent, variants are stored as separate products, SKUs are missing or duplicated, images are named IMG_4471, and the old platform exports data in a format Shopify will not accept as is.

Automatic migration apps help with the transfer itself, but they copy the mess along with the data. That is why we treat migration as a data cleaning job first and an import second.

What we migrate

DataWhat we do with it
Products and variantsGroup duplicates into proper variants, fix option names, respect Shopify's three option limit
SKUs and barcodesFill gaps, remove duplicates, keep your existing codes where they are clean
StockImport quantities per location and flag anything negative or missing
ImagesRename, compress, attach to the right variant, add alt text
Descriptions and SEO fieldsKeep what ranks, fix what is broken, write missing titles and meta descriptions
CollectionsRebuild categories as collections, manual or automatic
CustomersImport contact details and marketing consent (passwords cannot be moved by any platform)
OrdersImport past orders when you need history for customers or reporting
Old URLsMap every old product, category and page URL to its new address with 301 redirects

Where are you moving from?

From a POS or a spreadsheet

Many stores we talk to have no online store yet. Their catalogue lives in a point of sale system, a supplier price list or a spreadsheet. That is often the hardest case, because nothing was ever structured for the web. We build the catalogue from those files: titles, variants, descriptions, photos and collections.

Catalogues with thousands of products

We manage District Airsoft's Shopify store, with more than 1,200 products in English and French, including replicas, parts, gear and upgrades with technical specs. Large catalogues are where careful data work pays off: one bad import across 1,000 products is a week of fixes.

How the migration runs

  1. Export and audit. We pull your data and list every problem before touching anything.
  2. Clean and map. Variants grouped, fields mapped to Shopify, images matched.
  3. Test import. A sample goes into your store first so you can check it.
  4. Full import and redirects. Everything goes in, every old URL gets a redirect.
  5. Launch check. Search Console, sitemap, test orders and a final review with you.
FAQ

Questions, answered

Will I lose my Google rankings?

Rankings can dip during any move. Proper 301 redirects, keeping content that ranks and resubmitting the sitemap keep that dip small and short. Skipping redirects is what causes real losses.

Can my store stay open during the move?

Yes. We build the new store in the background and switch the domain only when it is ready.

Do customers need new passwords?

Yes. No platform can transfer passwords. Shopify sends customers an invitation to activate their account, and we can help you word that email.

How long does it take?

It depends on catalogue size and how clean it is. A few hundred tidy products is quick. Thousands of messy ones take longer. We quote after looking at a sample export.
