A wholesale ordering portal for your trade customers
Each customer logs in and sees their own prices, minimum quantities and volume tiers. They reorder in a minute, request quotes for large volumes, and you stop retyping orders from emails.
Why wholesale orders still arrive by email
Retail ecommerce is solved. Wholesale is not. Your trade customers have different prices, minimum order quantities, volume tiers, payment terms and sometimes their own product codes. A standard online store cannot show all that, so orders keep coming by email, WhatsApp and PDF, and someone on your side retypes them.
A B2B ordering portal gives each customer a login and a catalogue that already knows their terms.
What a B2B portal handles
- Customer specific pricing. Price lists per customer or per group, in their currency
- MOQ and case packs. Minimum quantities by product or category, sold in full units only
- Volume tiers. Prices that drop as quantities rise, calculated per product the way you define it
- Quick reorder. Last order in one tap, or upload a list of SKUs and quantities
- Quote requests. For volumes above your tiers or custom specs, a request goes to sales instead of checkout
- Order status and documents. Proforma, invoice, packing list and shipping updates in one place
- Approval. New accounts approved by you before they see prices
Shopify B2B or a custom portal?
If you already sell on Shopify and your wholesale terms are simple, Shopify's B2B features on Shopify Plus, or a wholesale app on a standard plan, may be enough, and we can set them up. A custom portal makes sense when your rules are more specific than those tools allow (for example, MOQs that combine variants with a minimum per variant), when you do not sell retail at all, or when orders need to feed your supplier or warehouse in a specific format.
Built by people who import and wholesale
KLM Group runs a sourcing business and a wholesale division, so we know the details: MOQs by category, minimums per variant, tiers by product rather than by order, deposits before production and proforma invoices. See the KLM Sourcing site.
Typical first version
- Customer login with approval
- Catalogue with each customer's prices and tiers
- Cart that enforces MOQs and full units
- Order submission with proforma PDF
- Admin to manage customers, price lists and orders
- CSV export for your accounting or supplier
