A sourcing company needed inbound quote requests from importers worldwide. We built market pages with real content, 35 duty calculators and a short path to a quote.

The challenge

Sourcing from China is a crowded search space with large competitors. A generic page saying we find suppliers was never going to rank. The site needed to answer specific questions importers in specific countries ask.

What we built

  • Regional hubs and market pages. More than 120 pages organized by region, country and city, each with information specific to that market
  • Import duty calculators. 35 country calculators that buyers can use to estimate landed costs
  • Sample report. An example of the deliverable, so buyers know exactly what they pay for
  • Simple message. Plain language instead of walls of text, and one clear action: request a quote
  • Contact bubble. A fast way to reach the team on mobile

Result

The site now brings inbound quote requests on a regular basis through organic search. It is the model we use when we plan lead generation sites for clients: specific pages, useful tools, honest content and a short path to contact.
