Websites and ordering portals for wholesalers and importers

MOQs, volume tiers, quote requests, proformas and buyers in several countries. We build for this world because KLM Group works in it.

We import and wholesale too

KLM Group runs a sourcing company that helps businesses buy from Chinese suppliers, and a wholesale division selling greenery panels and artificial turf to trade buyers. We built the websites for both. See the KLM Sourcing site, with more than 120 pages and 35 import duty calculators.

What trade buyers expect from your website

  • A catalogue they can browse without calling you
  • Clear MOQs, lead times and how pricing tiers work
  • A fast way to request a quote with quantities
  • Proof that you are a real company: registration, process, terms
  • Pages in their market, about their import rules and shipping
  • A login to reorder without starting from scratch

What we build

  • B2B catalogue site. Products with specs, MOQs and tiers, with or without public prices
  • Quote request flow. Buyers pick products and quantities, you receive a structured request
  • Ordering portal. Customer logins with their prices and terms, see the B2B ordering portal page
  • Market pages. Pages for the countries you ship to, with honest content about duties, shipping and timelines
  • Calculators. Landed cost, duty or volume calculators that buyers use and share

More on portals: B2B wholesale ordering portals.

Market pages that are not doorway pages

Search engines penalize sites that create the same page fifty times with only the country name changed. Market pages work when each one has real, specific information: that country's import rules, typical shipping routes, duties and how buyers there usually order. That is how the KLM Sourcing site is built, and it now brings in inbound quote requests on a regular basis.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Should we show prices publicly?

It depends. Many wholesalers show tiers or starting prices to qualify buyers and keep exact prices behind a login.

Can buyers order in their currency?

Yes. Price lists can be set per currency, or prices converted at checkout.

Can the site handle quotes instead of checkout?

Yes. Many B2B sites work entirely on quote requests, at least at first.
