Specialty retail is a data problem

A general store sells a T-shirt in three sizes. A specialty shop sells a part that fits four models, comes in two thread types and needs a spec sheet. Your customers compare specs, check compatibility and know when a description is wrong. A beautiful theme does not help if the catalogue is messy.

What we do for specialty stores

  • Catalogue cleanup. Consistent titles, variants grouped, specs in structured fields, brands and types set correctly
  • Filters that make sense. Filter by brand, compatibility, size or spec using metafields, not just tags
  • Bilingual catalogues. English and French, or other pairs, without the duplicate URL and indexing problems that often come with translation
  • Store and online in sync. Shopify POS for the physical shop so stock is one number
  • Content that ranks. Buying guides and category pages written by people who understand the products
  • Supplier imports. Turning supplier price lists into products without retyping

Real example: District Airsoft

We run the Shopify store for District Airsoft, a specialty airsoft retailer with a physical store in Quebec. More than 1,200 products in English and French, with replicas, parts, upgrades and gear, plus SEO, product data and email. It is the kind of catalogue where a wrong spec means a return.

Thin product pages hurt rankings

Search engines have become stricter about pages with short, generic or copied descriptions. Specialty shops often copy manufacturer text, which means the same description exists on dozens of other sites. Rewriting the most important products with real detail is one of the better investments a specialty store can make.

FAQ

Questions, answered

We have products in our POS but not online. Can you add them?

Yes. We build the online catalogue from your POS or supplier exports.

Can you write product descriptions?

Yes, starting with the products that matter most for sales and search.

Do you work with stores that sell regulated products?

Yes, as long as the products are legal to sell where you operate. We set up age checks and shipping restrictions as needed.
