Everything's remote by design — calls, files, revisions, launch. I keep flexible hours and reply fast, and async communication (email, Loom-style walkthroughs, written updates) covers the rest. Clients elsewhere in the world work with me the same way.
I typically quote in EUR or USD to keep pricing stable for both of us, but I can work out ISK equivalents for internal budgeting if that's easier on your end.
Some businesses should — if you want someone who can meet in person, a local shop is the right call. If you'd rather have one experienced person hands-on for less than a local agency's overhead, remote is worth considering. Your call either way, and I'll tell you honestly if I'm not the right fit.
